Accurate Biometrics offers two types of Illinois personal fingerprint background checks, Illinois UCIA and Illinois “Access and Review”.
Use the following chart to see which type of background check is for you. For example, a person wishing to employ a Nanny can request a UCIA fingerprint background check on the applicant before hiring. A person interested in expungement or record clearing would choose an Illinois Access and Review, the most complete Illinois background check.

If we verify that your prints have been processed and your requesting agency has not received a response from the Illinois State Police (ISP), you can contact the ISP for an update. You must have the Transaction Control Number from your receipt
