Peggy CritchfieldOwner and President

With a vision of making her certified small business the preferred choice in fingerprint based criminal history background checks, Peggy has guided Accurate Biometrics through expansive growth serving state, national and federal clients. Peggy’s strengths include planning for strategic development and controlling costs to customers. She is a seasoned business owner, and former corporate executive with over 10 years experience in the retail customer service industry as a buyer and industry consultant.

She was a 2008 and 2014 nominee for the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign, with a degree in Retailing. Peggy attends the FBI CJIS Compact Council Meetings, US Woman’s Chamber of Commerce Programs, and the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business Entrepreneurial Round Table Programs.

Jim Critchfield Executive Vice President

Former Corporate Group Vice-President with over 25 years experience in the customer service industry, Jim has a proven track record in recruiting, hiring, coaching, training, business logistics and cost controls. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia, with a degree in Business Administration. Jim believes in investing in technology and efficiency projects that are aligned with customer requirements. He believes that “for every decision the company makes, for every asset we buy, we must ask, what will this do for our customers?”

Tim DanielsChief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer

Tim directs all levels of the operation for more than 20 national and local government fingerprint programs, including Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Chicago Board of Education, and the California Department of Insurance. In his role, Tim is responsible for defining the company’s long-term corporate strategy and allocating resources to achieve the company’s goals, including technology, capital, and staff. He developed the agencies growth strategies which led to the opening of its West Coast and Southern operations. By championing Accurate Biometrics multi-year system integrations and fingerprint system project, he helped streamline management reporting metrics and greatly improved ease of use by the field operations staff.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with concentrations in accounting and finance, and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He is on the Alumni Board for Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, a market leader for Indiana University’s alumni association, and is a program leader with Chicago Cares.

Josh BoddifordVice President of Information Technology

Josh brings more than 17 years of experience in information systems development, application support and enterprise architecture to the Accurate Biometrics team. As Vice President of Information Technology, Josh oversees the planning and coordination of I.T. infrastructure, applications, information security, and operational support systems used to manage the business. Josh is also responsible for the design and development of unique biometric applications that will further define Accurate Biometrics as a leader in the live scan and identity services market. Josh holds a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Florida.

Marcel Reid Director of Adjudication Services

Marcel is Former Bureau Chief of the Illinois State Police Bureau of Identification, with over 35 years of experience with the Bureaus’ statewide Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) program, the ISP’s Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS), and the statewide electronic fingerprint network for Livescan fingerprint submissions. Marcel also directed process improvements in CHRI records management, training and information symposiums, and as the Bureaus’ legislative liaison for fingerprints. As our Director of Adjudication Services, Marcel oversees the adjudication services for customers who have received approval for the outsourcing of these records. Marcel is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Business Management, and directly oversees the company’s adjudication process for State and Federal fingerprint based background checks.

Markus May General Counsel

Markus May is Accurate Biometrics’ legal counsel, and owner of May Law Firm LLC in Naperville, Illinois. Markus works with Accurate Biometrics with various legal matters and user agreements. He has a background in business management and understands the need to keep legal issues simple. Markus speaks frequently at seminars to business owners on business law related topics and has authored numerous business law articles. He is a member of the Institute of Illinois Business Laws where he helps draft Illinois business laws and has served as the chairman of the business law committees for the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association and the DuPage County Bar Association. He is a top rated attorney with Martindale Hubbell and with Mr. May received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado where he served on the Law Review and was class president.
